Let me correct you, you want the difference between LoL and Dota 2*?

Cause DotA* is the original thing created by a warcraft 3 modder who later sold it, although he keeps working on it. In this one, DotA you got creep denial, you dont have summoner spells, you got plenty of stores, you dont have a simple store like LoL. Everyone can use all the champs/heroes. Theres no META for this game

Well it allows u to stay ahead once u get ahead. In lol once u get all ur items the other team will slowly start catching back up as u have maxed out. Then u can lose if their team can stall long enough to get back into the game. There r some ridiculously good items there that r super expensive but apparently some r dropped when u die allowing the other team to pick them up and get free weapons. There r also a few differences in the way stats r applies I think.

Uh the way you get extra stats is when you actually skill it up and you get 2 + stats. In LoL the max lvl is 18 but the max lvl in dota 2 is 25(9 extra stats(skill lvl up to 4). And what i mean by stat is you have a Strength, Agility and Intelligence. Every hero is unique as they have a type of role to play. I would say Dota 2 is more complex and competitive because you have to actually think about what you do and do that shitz. I don't like LoL because it feels so simple. Although u guys like the simple life, I like the hard strategy MOBA.

Fyi Guinsoo, the co-creator or creator was the original person who created Dota, He passed it on to Icefrog (current (still making). Guinsoo later formed Riot games and created LoL. (There are items in the game that has his name)

Btw Dragonrage was talking about the Divine Rapier which you get +250 damage but lose it when dead. Also its quite easy to transition from LoL to Dota 2.

Rapier is a game changer never lose it. Don't forget the Gem of True Sight. You'll also lose this when you die.
In DotA if the other team is owning then you'll have about 5% - no chance of turning the game around. If the other team reach their max level, their is a high chance that the losing team may not be even around level 16. Also, if the other team has maxed their items then the losing team may get stuck in their basic boots.
The Guardian Angel revival is considered OP in DotA. If there was an item like it everyone would buy it. There is only one hero that can revive with his ulti but it has huge cooldown time and consumes a lot of mana. The only other way to revive a hero is to get the Aegis by killing Roshan and he gets stronger as time passes.

One thing I hate about LoL is that they even categorize Champions by lane, this hero top, this goes bottom.

Teamwork matters a lot, hero aura effects can do so much. And some hero combinations hurt own team.
LoL is very casual compared to DotA. Say like COD and Quake :D
I personally prefer DotA, its the game and nothing but it.

There are a lot of similarities between dota and lol and lol seems to keep acquiring more stuff from DoTA all the time. I haven't actually played DoTA but I have sen a number of commentaries on it and tbh it looks like DoTA is way easier. Ppl can solo the roshan but in lol it takes at least two ppl who r almost completely maxed out in items to do it but normally takes at least 3 but that is generally only after a team fight when the other team has been aced. More often than not the whole team goes to take out baron and that generally starts a team fight since the other team doesn't want then to get the baron buff which is quite strong.
